Application :

A rotary cone vacuum dryer is used for drying and mixing raw materials to make a product. This machine can be used in pharmaceutical materials, making insecticides, pesticides, and also for food products and cosmetics.
The connection pipe is turned upwards in the cone and is fitted with a dust filter at its end. Inlet and outlet pipes pass through the outer trunnion for the supply of suitable heating medium to the jacket. A special design of a rotating valve is used for this purpose. One of the trunnions is driven through a reduction gear and chain drive. Rotation speed will range from 12 rpm for small units to large commercial installations. The Horsepower is varied between 0.5 and 15. The base cylinder diameter is about 1 m to 3m.

The RCVD facilitates enhanced drying efficiency, low temperature operation and economy of process by total solvent recovery. It helps cGMP base working by achieving optimum dust control, while offering advantages of efficient charging and discharging of materials.
